      <image:title>Projects - Hyde Park Residence</image:title>
<image:caption>The house is positioned on a 543m2 site in an inner suburb of Adelaide at the end of a cul-de-sac. The external focus of the house is on the northerly-placed lap pool, timber deck and eastern Japanese garden. High boundary walls provide open spaces that give both a sense of privacy and containment whether entertaining or relaxing. The rectilinear design of the house with openable highlight windows to the entry foyer and central courtyard assist with cross ventilation. The extra deep external rendered brick veneer walls produce sun shading and a good thermal and sound insulation whilst visually "grounding" the building. Light and air quality has been taken into consideration for each room utilizing their respective courtyards by providing a different visual experience from each opening. The cantilevered flat steel deck roof overhangs provide protection over summer sun whilst allowing the winter rays to supply warmth to the interiors. The choice of timber decking gives comfort visually, physically and thermally.</image:caption>

The timeless charm of these residences also incorporates the latest in technology from electronic systems to energy-efficient design – earning an energy rating of 8.1 stars out of 10. German double-glazing provided the necessary sound insulation from traffic noise from main road vehicles. Tasmanian machine-cut sand stone walls dressed the facades, double insulated external skin and high-level physical and electronic components to each property provides comfort for its residents and safe spaces for the children. The clients requested comfort and low maintenance and this has been implemented throughout the project.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Khattar Residence - Dubai Hills, Dubai, UAE</image:title>
<image:caption>Our Client wished to have a large home (1,772 square metres) so that his family, extended family and guests could enjoy the finer things in life: - Large entertaining areas, home theatre, gym, sauna, massage area, contemplation court with waterfalls, ponds and fully landscaped gardens, swimming pool with change rooms and roof-top gazebo with views of the Burj Khalifa and soon to be completed Dubai Creek Tower (over 1,000 metres tall) and surrounding cities. - Five large bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms. - A large wine tunnel and cellar with imported stone to walls and ceilings. - Double kitchens and barbecue area. - Seven car garage and glass walled lift servicing four floors. The villa is to be finished in honed ‘Jerusalem’ stone and openings externally shaded with cantilevered herring-bone patterned glass-reinforced horizontal shade-screens. Our Client requested to incorporate 100 kW of solar panels to the roofs, 2x 50 kW Tesla batteries and inverter, 12,000 litre grey-water re-cycling tanks for irrigating the landscaped gardens and topping-up the swimming pool, 3 waterfalls and ponds and car-washing. In addition to this highly specified thermal insulation ('Acoustica Australia') to walls and roofs and irrigation techniques (‘Rainsmart’ system) are to be incorporated. With temperatures reaching 50 degrees centigrade the Swedish ‘Termodeck’ system of modifying air-conditioning was a ‘must-have’ - resulting in a saving of 50%+ in energy consumption. A holistic approach was adopted with regard to the physical comfort and health of the occupants by incorporating numerous methods of passive and active energy saving technologies. This included a comprehensive home and garden management system that is expected to provide year-round comfort for family and guests.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Projects - Marchesan Residence – Glenelg North</image:title>

Set in the beach suburb of Glenelg, the client brief was to create separate areas for home-based business and family whilst incorporating visual connections between interior and exterior spaces. The result was a parents and home-office wing separated from the main house via a glass wall connector and two private, landscaped courtyards. These landscaped courtyards also accommodated a meditation garden and home cinema area. The children’s wing housed their bedrooms, study and television room and a large outdoor play area. <image:title>Projects - Interior Design of Boutique Tenancies - Mall of the Emirates, Dubai, U.A.E.</image:title>
<image:caption>The intention of our Client was to display these high-end fashion labels in a fresh way by means of simple and elegant merchandise presentation on a white wall pallet. These items are illuminated by custom-made lighting and active brand name projections to the walkways. Customer interactions are encouraged with the ‘Meeting/Modelling and Re-Charging Zone’ and multi-purpose seating areas that ‘de-stress’ and provide comfort to their customers. The customer experience was to be paramount since much repeat business has been created by an almost cultish following and fierce loyalty to several fashion brands - especially within the ranks of the local under 30’s population. Trusting the above is adequate for the photos that were sent to you.</image:caption>
