Our Client wished to have a large home (1,772 square metres) so that his family, extended family and guests could enjoy the finer things in life:
- Large entertaining areas, home theatre, gym, sauna, massage area, contemplation court with waterfalls, ponds and fully landscaped gardens,
swimming pool with change rooms and roof-top gazebo with views of the Burj Khalifa and soon to be completed Dubai Creek Tower
(over 1,000 metres tall) and surrounding cities.
- Five large bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms.
- A large wine tunnel and cellar with imported stone to walls and ceilings.
- Double kitchens and barbecue area.
- Seven car garage and glass walled lift servicing four floors.
The villa is to be finished in honed ‘Jerusalem’ stone and openings externally shaded with cantilevered herring-bone patterned glass-reinforced
horizontal shade-screens.
Our Client requested to incorporate 100 kW of solar panels to the roofs, 2x 50 kW Tesla batteries and inverter, 12,000 litre grey-water re-cycling
tanks for irrigating the landscaped gardens and topping-up the swimming pool, 3 waterfalls and ponds and car-washing. In addition to this highly
specified thermal insulation ('Acoustica Australia') to walls and roofs and irrigation techniques (‘Rainsmart’ system) are to be incorporated.
With temperatures reaching 50 degrees centigrade the Swedish ‘Termodeck’ system of modifying air-conditioning was a ‘must-have’ - resulting
in a saving of 50%+ in energy consumption. A holistic approach was adopted with regard to the physical comfort and health of the occupants by
incorporating numerous methods of passive and active energy saving technologies.This included a comprehensive home and garden management
system that is expected to provide year-round comfort for family and guests.
